Ready for a new rugby season with Old Street in Central London

After a season where all three Club teams finished higher than they had ever done before - we can't wait to get stuck into another set of fixtures to see if we can go even better.

In 2024/25, our 1XV again performed incredibly strongly in Counties 1 Herts/Middx. The strength of the Club shone through as a number of players were pulled up through the teams to cover for injuries - often shining and some went on to establish themselves in the squad as its look and feel evolved once again.

The 2XV continued in Middlesex Merit Table Premier - the highest league they can compete in - and narrowly missed out on a Playoff spot.

But it was the 3XV who really had a season to remember. After losing in the Cup Final to Old Actonians 2XV - they avenged that loss and their defeat against the same team in the Playoffs last season to win promotion to Middlesex Merit Table Two in the Final on a beautifully sunny day.

Off the pitch, the Club continued to flourish and build lifelong friendships amongst our membership after matches, on tube lines and at the Howl at the Moon on Hoxton Street - culminating in our annual Tour which this time took us to Bari, Puligia in Italy.

We're always on the lookout for new players - so if you're reading this, and looking for an inclusive rugby club, with teams available at all levels of men's rugby - from beginners to those looking to play at a high level - training takes place at Haggerston Park, on the 4G, every Tuesday from July 8, between 7-9pm. Just turn up to get involved, message us on Instagram or drop us an email.
